SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The scheduled times are for close of registration

Fencers not present at close of registration for their event will be withdrawn or subject to a $50.00 penalty, at the discretion of the Directoire Technique

Events will start approximately 30 minutes after close of registration

All times are Central Standard and are subject to change depending on the number of entries

Events for which there are fewer than 6 entries received by the entry deadline will be cancelled or run as combined gender.

ENTRY FEES: Administration Fee: $20 (non-refundable)

Event Fees:

  • Cadet events: $20
  • Junior events: $30
  • Senior events: $40

The above fees apply if entry and payment are received by 11:59 PM CST, Wednesday, April 23,  For entries received after Wednesday, April 23, all fees are doubled.

ONLY ONLINE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED

Fencers may enter more than one event on each day, however they will be required to withdraw from an event if their entry will impede the progress of the competition. Fencers must remain in the event in progress.

Athletes eligible for cadet events are those who were under seventeen years of age as of January 1, 2008. i.e. Born in 1991 or since.

Athletes eligible for junior events are those who were under twenty years of age as of January 1, 2008. i.e. Born in 1988 or since.

Athletes eligible for Master Mixed Foil are those who were born in 1978 or before. Master
Mixed Foil is an unofficial event and will not be sanctioned by the CFF. Master Mixed Foil results will not be submitted for inclusion in the Domestic Rankings.

Acceptance of entry is contingent upon acceptance of waiver by athlete; and parent or guardian in the case of an athlete who is under eighteen years of age. Acceptance of waiver signifies that the person has read, understood, and agrees to the conditions stipulated in the waiver and in Article 16 of the FIE Regulations of Competition.

EQUIPMENT CONTROL: Mask and body wires checked by armourer prior to start of each event. Weapons and other equipment to be checked by referees on piste.
FORMAT: 1st round of pools of 6 and/or 7; all fencers promoted to a direct elimination tableau (no repechage)
RULES: The latest FIE rules will apply except regarding Kevlar clothing and maraging blades.
FIE MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED.
All competitors are required to wear proper fencing clothing. No sweatpants or windpants will be allowed.
