Registrar's Report, 1995-1996

by Brian Zulkoskey

Growth in the number of Participating Regular (Competitive) members has been occurring since the 92/3 season. Over the past two seasons this growth has occurred due mainly to the addition of Asquith and Moose Jaw, and to an increase in the number of members in the Prince Albert and University of Saskatchewan fencing clubs. Other clubs have had relatively stable regular membership numbers.

Supporting (Recreational) membership is down significantly at South Zone, Prince Albert, and the Rapiers, steady at SFC, and up moderately at U of S. I wish to remind the directors that each club was urged to make it club policy that each participating (regular) member be responsible for recruiting two supporting members. To date, only two clubs, Prince Albert and SFC have more supporting than regular members.
