With a grant from the 1989 Jeux Canada Games Foundation, Inc. the Saskatchewan Amateur Wrestling Association has purchased a thirty-two foot by thirty-two foot reconditioned wrestling mat.

SAWA is now taking applications for use of this mat, which will be offered for use to an established club in need of a quality wrestling mat.

There will be no cost for use of the mat, however, the cost of transportation and insurance for the mat is the responsibility of the recipient club. The mat will remain the property of SAWA and SAWA will reserve the right to use the mat for tournaments at any time.

Use of the mat will be awarded for two seasons, with an evaluation after the first season.

Please send applications to the SAWA office, 510 Cynthia St., Saskatoon SK S7L 7K7. Deadline for applications for use of the mat for the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons is October 31, 2003.
