The MARONUIK/MARCOUX SCHOLARSHIP AWARD for 2006 has been awarded to KORY COOPER of the Saskatoon Cardinals Pee Wee AAA.

The John Maronuik Scholarship Award was instituted in 2001, and is sponsored by Grant Marcoux and the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame.

This scholarship is awarded annually to a baseball player 12 years or younger who demonstrates desire, perseverance and love of the game.

The award will be presented at the annual Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame Awards ceremony in North Battleford on August 19th. Tickets can be obtained by calling 446-1983.
