2006 Notable Results

  • Nationals
     
    • Congratulations to the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets, Senior AAA National Silver medalists and Sask Baseball Team of the Year.
       
    • Congratulations to the Team Sask Bantam Girls, National Silver medalists. Two players on the team were from Saskatoon - Melissa Armstrong (Cardinals) and Taelor Fredrickson (Red Sox).
       
    • Congratulations to the Saskatoon Sun Devils, Midget AAA National Bronze medalists and Sask Baseball Minor Team of the Year.  The Sun Devils lost 2-0 to BC in the semi-final and defeated New Brunswick 9-2 in the bronze medal game.
       
    • Congratulations to the Subaru Saskatoon Team Sask Pee Wee Girls, National Bronze medalists. Two players on the team were from the Saskatoon Cardinals - Chelsea Wicks and Shayla Shahsavar.
       
  • Western Canadians
     
    • Congratulations to the Saskatoon Outlaws,  Senior AA Western Canadian Champions. The Outlaws defeated the Stonewall Blue Jays from Manitoba 2-1 in the final.
       
  • Provincials
     
    • Congratulations to the Saskatoon Outlaws, Senior AA Provincial Champions for the 10th consecutive year.  The Outlaws defeated the Muenster Red Sox 11-4 in the final.
       
    • Congratulations to the Saskatoon Giants, Junior AAA Provincial finalists.
       
    • Congratulations to the Saskatoon Sun Devils, Midget AAA Provincial Champions
      The Sun Devils defeated the Saskatoon Cubs 4-2 in the semi-final, and the Saskatoon Giants
      2-0 in the final.
       
    • Congratulations to the Bantam AAA Blue Jays, Provincial Champions.  The Blue Jays defeated the Regina Pacers 4-1 in the final.
       
    • Congratulations to the Bantam AA Tier II Blue Jays, Provincial Champions.
       
    • Congratulations to the Pee Wee AAA Blue Jays. The Blue Jays will represent Saskatchewan at the Pee Wee Westerns in Winnipeg, after losing 11-6 to the Regina White Sox in the provincial final.
       
    • Congratulations to the Pee Wee AA Tier II Blue Jays #2, Provincial Champions.  The Blue Jays defeated the Saskatoon Cardinals in the final.
       
    • Congratulations to the Mosquito AAA Blue Jays, Provincial Champions. The Blue Jays defeated the Saskatoon Cardinals in the final
       
    • Congratulations to the Mosquito AA Tier II Red Sox, Provincial Champions.  The Red Sox defeated the Saskatoon Cardinal Crushers in the final.
