ELIGIBILITY:   Fencers must be 2007-08 CFF Licencees or members in good standing with another FIE-recognized fencing federation. Saskatchewan fencers must be current Regular members.
(Under-13 and Master events at all SFA competitions, the Team Challenge, and the Asquith Open novelty events are also open to SFA Limited members.)
ENTRY FEES:   $15 registration fee, plus
$30 per competitor per individual event
$15 per competitor per team event (Team Challenge)

EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL:   Enter and pay on or before 10:00 p.m. on the discount date and receive a reduced registration fee of $10 and a reduced event fee of $20 per individual event and $10 per person per team event.

ASQUITH OPEN NOVELTY EVENTS

The Asquith Garde Fencing Association will once again be hosting the popular Open Mixed Duel at this year's Asquith Open. This one-hit Épée event will be in progress all day Sunday - matches begin at 9:00 a.m. but late entries will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Each match has a three minute time limit. Double hits are recorded as a double loss. A complete round robin will be held to seed for the Direct Elimination Tableau. Double losses in the D.E. will be settled by a coin toss. There will only be a first prize: The Court Sword Épée. Entry fee is $10 for each fencer for this event and may be paid by cash or cheque payable to AGFA at the event.

New this year is the Double Sabre event. It is essentially Sabre fenced with A sabre in each hand. The fencers will wear sabre masks and foil lames, and it will be judged like regular sabre. This event will also be held on Sunday, April 1 at a time to be determined. Entries will be accepted at the Asquith Open.
