• Team Saskatchewan wins Silver at the 2011 Canada Cup
  Congratulations to Team Saskatchewan for earning the silver medal at the 2011 Canada Cup Tournament. Ontario scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 7th to defeat Saskatchewan 3-2. Saskatoon players on the Team Sask roster were Jared Andreychuk (Saskatoon Giants), Aaron Barrett (Saskatoon Giants), Kohl Bauml (Saskatoon Cubs), Braden Bessel (Saskatoon Giants), Jake Hersikorn (Saskatoon Giants) and Kyle Sonntag (Saskatoon Cubs).

Teams have tryouts, drafts and winter workouts starting this fall so interested coaches should inquire now. Assistant coaches are already in place but a head coach is required.   A fall baseball team is being put together. This will give players an opportunity to practice and play baseball on a travelling team until the end of October.
